Classes

Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!? That’s what Sugar Cookie Classes is all about! Our classes are based in Bloomington-Normal and cater to beginners. Whether you have a birthday party, bachelorette party, a girls-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own- we have a seat for you. All you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you are a messy decorator), and we take care of the rest. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them. Public classes will be available throughout the year in a public location where anyone will be welcome to sign up. Private classes are similar to public classes, but the difference is you get to choose who you take the class with and the classes are held at either your home, a host home, or your event location. You will get to pick the theme of the cookie set so everything will me customized to your preferences.

Private classes for adults and teens (13+): Adult classes include everything you need to decorate a set of 6 cookies per person. Class duration is 2 hours in length and works similarly to a step-by-step painting class. I’ll walk you through how to decorate cookies step-by-step and helping you along the way. You’ll learn the basics of cookie decorating and get to practice techniques to achieve a fun set of cookies! The price per person for adult classes is $40 with a minimum of 3 attendees to hold a class.

Private classes for kids (5-12): Each child will receive a set of 4 cookies along with all the supplies needed to decorate. Class duration is around 1-1.5 hours in length. The techniques and designs for kids classes will be age appropriate for your age range and each child will receive plenty of encouragement and guidance. Parents and adults are welcome to stay with their children. The price per child is $25 and minimum of 3 attendees are needed to hold a kids class. At least 1 adult must be present for the duration of the class.
